A compact LED (Light Emitting Diode) UV curing system for use with LED optimised flexographic inks is now available from RK Print Coat Instruments Ltd and which can be integrated in as an option with the FlexiProof LED UV. The LED UV lamps offer a tailored output either at the important 385nm or 395nm wavelength.
RK have designed and built a third VCM for an internationally renowned ‘blue chip’ manufacturer and is the most sophisticated VCM so far. This latest machine will engage in quality control, product trialling and offers drying and curing possibilities, whilst laser cutting and guillotining are integral.
Occupying minimal bench top space the Control Coater offers variable coating speeds of between 2 and 15mpm and the controlled speed and pressure ensure repeatable results. Vacuum, magnetic, heated and glass beds are available, each of which, when added to the base machine, extend application possibilities.
