As an experienced electro-mechanical technician joining our assembly team you will be required to build, commission, and test bench top sized print proofing and coating machines used in both the R&D and production environments within the printing and coating industry.
Candidates should possess a suitable electrical qualification or relevant experience. This should accompany the ability to install, test and fault diagnose electrical circuits.
Candidates need to be flexible, self-motivating, and able to work with minimal supervision. A good sense of customer focus is important as the role may involve some service and repair of our equipment at customer premises.

Self-pick electrical and mechanical components and complete the mechanical / electrical build of a range of sheet fed machines.
Test and record mechanical and electrical measurements required to commission bench top machines
Use of all hand tools and factory machinery such as drills, grinders, linishers, and presses.
Soldering of electrical components.
Mechanical construction of complex printing and coating heads.
Wiring and testing of motor and control circuits
39-hour week. Mon-Thurs 0800-1700, Fri 0800-1300
23 days holiday plus bank holidays. Rising to 24 days after 5 years’ service
